  1. Thats what lives up the rivers lol
  2. Started off in Flat creek with Chocolate milk looking water and only 55 degrees, Gave up quick on the crappie and headed to bridgeport. Water wast 63 and a a green color, only a couple feet viz. Threw a Choppo around some flooded brush and caught a couple real quick. Also threw a G5 crank and got bit on that too. Found a black/blue/purple jig the other day in a bush and decided just to tie it on and see what happened, even left the trailer on it, looked brand new. Caught 3 in bushes on that. 4 keeps and a handful of short fish for 4 hours. When i took out at Flat Creek the water had warmed up to 59-60. Good luck guys, back to work for me for a week! Also had a Blue heron dive bomb on my topwater, thank god he didnt get hooked. And i saw 2 very large Beavers with 2 little babies up on the bank eyeballing me.
  3. A buddy of mine got one to try, It didnt last a full day of throwing, and he wasnt catching. I have better things to spend 13 bucks on.
  4. Those look great. I would buy those any day
  5. Ive never used the Elite tech, but i love my Fenwick HMG's. Not sure what price range the tech is in but the HMG's i think were $99
  6. Yeah i saw some pretty nasty pics too. I usually launch at Bridgeport sometimes at the Flat Creek Cafe
  7. Anyone have any eyes on Flat Creek and what shape its in? Debating going that way tomorrow
  8. Had a few hours to kill yesterday so i put in at Mill about 9:30, water temp 65. Tried to get a bite going on the big spoon under docks but they are not quite there yet. Had a lot of chasers but none committed. I started running the bank and found some on beds and the ones that were still on beds were willing to play. Tossed jigs, wacky worm, shakey head but the only thing i could get the bed fish to eat was a ned. Ended up with 5 keepers for a whopping 10.59lbs. Also caught plenty of short fish. Most the fish still on the beds that I saw were spots. I did get off the bank for a minute and threw a 3.3 Keitech and quickly caught a 16" smallmouth. But i couldnt stick with it knowing i could watch them eat the Ned. Snapped a couple pics, nothing big
  9. I put injectors in mine yesterday and my starting issue is fixed. Thanks Mr. Giggles for the online diagnosis
  10. I have a used set of Polaris tires, no plugs, cuts or gashes 510 miles on them, they look pretty much new, I just went with a bigger tire is the only reason im selling. I live in Ozark Fronts: 24x8-12 Rears 24x10-12 $100
  11. Dave, Whats the water looking like around KC? Thinking about heading down tomorrow, if its fairly clear.
  12. yeah, i may go down more towards Kimberling or maybe run up to Stockton
  13. I saw a guy post on facebook in front of Bridgeport yesterday and it was a debri field. Looked horrible. I was planning on going there tomorrow too but not now. Here is the pic i stole from Facebook
  14. I read the rules and it says the heaviest 20 wins. You think they have the non puncture cull tags to sort them all out?
  15. Kinda like wrench said, just giving you a hard time. The point was why keep everything you catch if you dont eat much meat anymore
  16. If i were them i would hit Beaver Creek on Bull, We used to bow fish a lot around there when it was up. Honestly cant remember the last time i saw a carp on Table Rock. I know there are plenty but i never see them
  17. The first page of this thread you said you wife gets mad because you eat fish for every meal.
  18. Ive had my X3 about three years now and it has always been pretty smooth, It seems like it is starting to creak more and more and one of those long metal pins on the mount loves to back its way out and i have to keep a hammer with me to beat it back in about once a day. You guys should both get one of these kits to keep onboard, its only a matter of time before the little plastic tabs break and your trip is ruined https://trollingmotorparts.com/motor-guide-pulley-kit-x3-x5/
  19. When i went to Dyna they just ran my card and i took the prop and it didnt work out so i took it back and got a refund. Only thing about Johns is he doesnt have a big inventory of props. He just let me try a few he had laying around.
  20. Im glad everyone doesnt have that mentality or our fisheries would be screwed. I guess all us catch and release guys make up for the 5 gallon bucket fisherman.
  21. John Hot Props in Ozark is always a good one to try, he let me borrow a whole bunch of different props an didnt even ask for my name. He is a good guy to work with
  22. You have to basically buy the prop and as long as you bring it back perfect they will refund you fully if it doesnt work. Ive done it a few times
  23. Doesnt Jimmy have his own lakes on his property? I watched a show once where he was putting something in it to create an algae bloom and also he had like 200 lbs of crawdads he was letting go on the edge so they would crawl in. Man that would be the life.
