I know you have to get a yearly pass to go on Fellows but does anyone know if the boat and motor need to be registered with numbers and all. My little kiddo was wanting to go there and we have a Jon Boat and old outboard but they don't have titles so I cant register them.

Ceramic court those things and just rinse them off. I just had my new truck ceramic coated and they did all the glass too. Its like wax on steroids

Went from a 2006 Ram to a mid size. The Ram was titled as a 1500 but the 2006 Mega cab had all 3/4 drivetrain and the guy that had it before me put 1 ton springs in the front and a extra leaf in the rear. IT was a big truck never had any issues besides normal wear parts 265K.
Sold it and got a 26' Canyon, 310 hp 4 banger, only 35 hp less than the huge tired Dodge. Ive had it a month and have towed the boat a few times up and down the Branson hills. Not just saying this because I blew a crap load of money, but it tows so much better than the Dodge. The little 4 cylinder is a monster.
Heck I towed my boat last year with my moms Subaru Ascent and it was great too. these new little Turbos are great. Not sure on the long haul but ill trade it in 2 years either way (Its the new company car..lol)

MLF might be in more danger.
Rumors on Redcrest being on the Rock next year. Don’t know if it’s confirmed
Only reason I can see is logistics as far as phone ie TV coverage and unlimited housing and restaurants.
3 major convention centers
Oh, I guess there is also BP.I’ve only got 2 little bitty places on the entire lake that I don’t have great phone coverage.
Red Crest is already on the regatta listing for next year

Thats the rumor, what do you guys think?

keep looking, it took me a while but I finally found an Skeeter Bass Boat trailer with a title for $250. Now I always buy permanent tags for trailers

Just dont be banging lures off their docks or boats and your good. Ive had my fair share of run ins with dock owners. But 99% of them just ask if they are biting. Every once in a while a Karen will come down screaming. ITs easier just to move to the next one instead of arguing with a wall. If you are lucky enough to have a dock on a public lake you just should expect people to fish around it occasionally
Two weeks ago I was fishing a big community dock flipping stalls, a guy pulled up on his side by side and just sat by the walk way, when he saw I was packing up to move on he came on to the dock and said he waited because he didn't want to disturb the fishing. There are plenty of good ones to make up for the nasty ones.

Not sure about the new ones but I have an old 2006 Hemi Megacab 3/4 ton and 35's. Has 260k on it and still going strong. Only things I have don't are just typical maintenance. Just changed the original Wheel Bearing and Ball joints last month (that was a nightmare). Going to sell it soon though, just time for something new

Looks like Lowrance and Ultrex are the heaviest. The Power Pole and Garmin Force are about the same.
I picked up a 57" Garmin Force since they're discounted pretty heavily right now. I installed one for a buddy a couple years ago and it seems to be working well for him.
I'd be curious to hear about Power Pole as a company, where the stuff is made, and how good they are about supporting their products.
I don't think Garmin counts the mount in the weight of their motor. Amazon list the shipping weight at 98lbs

I got the non GPS version for my boy for Christmas it works great. I cant imagine what I would need the GPS for, I mean were fishing off the bank.

In all my 73 years I swear there are more June bugs this year than I've ever seen. We were driving home from Nevada the other night and it sounded like little small grenades constantly hitting the car. You could see them in the headlights. One place it almost looked like it was snowing there were so many of them. I just dropped about 30 out of an empty dog food bowl up at the shop. There's another 50 or more on the walls and floor. I'd bet the catfish would bite on one. It's crazy.
I live in Ozark and my garage is full of them, My parents live kind over your way by Linden and my dad was complaining about his shop being full of them too

He may not be scoping but he has lots of other tricks besides casting and cranking.
He put me on a pattern and I ran with it.
As we have touched on in the past, post spawn fish will gang up. Some of these locations will hold initially depending on location lots of pre-spawners.
I’m the one who has been pounding the dirt, and he informed me they were already out there.
Believe it or not, lots of the dam area guides are already out there with a night crawler dangling for their clients.
Seems early for that, but there are just loads of SM out there. For the past month I’m catching way more SM than I’m catching K’s in any depth. LM are running second.
KC to the SK bridge. I have not been up the White, Kings or James yet.
Don’t pigeon hole James. I’m guessing he has caught as many fish over deep trees on a flutter spoon a jigging spoon, jerk bait and a Redfin than a lot of us combined 😁😁
ch
I wouldnt pigeon hole him, I now he has whacked more fish on the Rock than i may ever catch. Starting soon the only thing on my deck will be a flutter spoon and a sexy dog.

I bet Champ was out in 50ft scoping with a minner.
I went up the James all the way to McCords bend today. Mainly crappie fishing with my lil man. We did pretty good. Water temp way up the James was 59. Flatt Creek I saw 64. Water was very clean and clear above Bridgeport. Below Bridgeport water was nice stain but not muddy

Dutch, I do not want to hog anyone out of it, I do have a bubba, but @BilletHeads Rapala is better. I have been "jonesing" for one.
I have a corded bubba blade and I like it, but I use my old mister twister blades. I don't really like the blades that came with it

It is a weird discussion, I catch so many spots between 12-15 inches. And if they say the average age of a spotted bass at 15" is 6-7 years its at the end of its life anyhow. If that's the case we should keep them at 12". Either way I don't think it will have much of an impact. I can think of many days in tourneys I wish I could have kept that 1lb rat......but the other guys would have to so it wouldn't have probably mattered

Looks like they caught them good. 26.67 for the win with a 8.14 largemouth and a 5.5 smallmouth
-
I was up there last weekend and never saw one, Went from Bridgeport to McCords Bend, and also up Flat Creek a ways. I never see the numbers in the spring like I did 7-8 years ago.
