  1. It is really easy to understand Wrench. That hoard of crawfish invading from the bank a month or so back scared them pretty bad and the poor things were atarving.
  2. I have always believed you cannot judge another mans actions unless you walk a mile in his shoes. You see it helps you feel what he feels. Pain passes from one generation to the next. I have related my own on here about my mother and father and coal mines and dress manufacturing shops. What happens in the past to you and yours is something that will burn in your sole. How would you feel if you fought in WW2 then came home and was told to get your butt on the baxk of the bus or got arrested for drinking out of the wrong fountain. I know if it was me I would feel nothing but a terrible inner rage. That rage will rub off as it has on the next generation to come. My whole life I have been suspecious of bussiness and labor relationships. NO I am not a union supporter. Both are the national kings of greed. It is up to each and everyone of us no matter what we are or who to do this. Its a real mess this world we live in. I had a ticket to the bus out of this world a few days ago and it left without me. After reading this thread it makes iIt makes me sort of sorry I missed catching the bus.
  3. I would about bet on the Eagle. Top one looks like a talon cut. I have seem them in a small dogs back, They are more knife like than pointed.
  4. I reallywould like to see whats in that things stomach.
  5. NOMOLITES----if I can get myself in shape enough I will be trolling the north shore this summer during the week with down trollers, I used to own a house in lick branch cove so I am pretty familiar with the area.
  6. I do not buy the stocking bass. That is not the problem. It is the popularity of bass fishing that is being hustled on people as a cool thing to do. To many on here it is a social/ competetive way to make them selves look good thing. Then to others it is a compulsion they have had since a young age.
  7. MJK I am sure your not 15 and I was not refering to wrench taking you in a fight. I was saying in the fishing and the things related to it. He is way out of your class in that area. As far as the fishing goes you are a junior flipper I see your post.
  8. I agree with that Dave knowing the differance and understanding both of those things are different systems requiring different knowledge and techgue are the differance between a fisherman and want to be's
  9. MJK MY BOY------ If your picking a fight with wrench about tourment things and opinions. Your way way out of your class junior flipper.
  10. Dave------- I do not know how many times I have tried to explain thaa to some people and they contiue to uderstand it really. NOw days I just do not say anything about it. The whole thing of fish thru the water column. Is another developed skill. I wrote a piece for a locale outdors paper on the many years ago called Sink Fishing Majic.
  11. You can say that again wrench. There is a whole lot to understanding just what that SINKING involves as well.
  12. private or public. i jsed to have a house in that area most are private or pay ramps. I am sure Wrench knows of something down there. Coffmans beach is the only public in the area But it is located within easy driving distance of most of the north shore area
  13. From My experience a bass will build a bed and stay there till the female gets to him. Once the eggs fry are in the bed he is very busy defending it from the hoards of bluegill surrounding it. If you take a bass from a bed before the actual spawn I do not know what might happen. But if you take one off the bed when there are eggs or fry in there I have seen with my own eyes what will happen. The blue gill will ravage that bed in just a few seconds. As far as tournament fishing being a negative factor in sports fishing I do not need to see a study. I know it is. If I had my way I would set a gaming fee on bass tournaments and require the sponsors to collect capitol gains tax on each check right there on the spot.
  14. I wish iI could get out there. Lokks like it is not about to happen anytime soon. I bet topwaters and wacky worms are about to come in. Stuff like square bills and wake baits as well.
  15. It could all be changing very fast big sorms rolling through in a couple hours
  16. I got both a question and a request for you.

I have a 2 grand nieces from china. The oldest ones name is Jada Brown. I understand she won a state level gymnastic tournament not long ago. Her mothers name is Shari Brown and is a principle at a high school in the St Louis county area. Just wondered if you might be familiar with her.

I would like to stop by and see your lure making operation sometime. I will be pretty tied up till sometime in July. The replacement of the failed knee replacement comes up 8 days after they finish the radiation.

I have virtually stopped fishing. Hope to have all three of these things ( knee, cancer and shoulder)  finished before next season

I've kind of stopped fishing too, the wife is due very soon, could be any time. I will ask my wife about the hound Chinese girl.

the lure making operation ain't much yet, but we have fun! Anyway, you're welcome to come by and see it anytime you wish!

  17. Tournament fishing adds pressure element to what isa wonderful pasttime. Thats why I do not do it.
  18. They will not do that though. It is easy for a lot of them that cannot stablish patterns but want to look good.
  19. Really allyou need to do is keep your butts fro taking fish off the beds.
  20. If it is simply to prove so ething put the fish on a flat tape and take a picture of it. NEver ueard of a big fish looking like a s,all fish but sure see a lot of pics on here of small fish lookmg like big fish.
  21. You guys are mostly young by my standards. But I can guarantee you if you fish long enough and hard enough your may very well hurt from your finger to your shoulder blade. My advise is be conservative. You never know what may happen in the future. Let me tell you it is real painful to have a failed shoulder. It can be a hellaciuos experience if your required to hold it in a certain painful position white a machine circles your body for 15 minutes 5 days a week for several weeks.
  22. I can say say some pretty vulgar words in sign language. Just so you know.
  23. Bet you just cannot wait now. Huh. She be coming very soon.

I am barely fidhing myself. The readiation treatment is in the moring 5 days a week for the next 8 weeks including this one. I must keep my shoulders in a unmovable position for about 15 minutes. Trouble is the bad one starts in about a minute after they get started. Buy the time they ar done the pain is enough hat I cannot rise off the table with that arm. Not a pleasant experice at all.  It about ends fishing for that day. Was hoping to get at this fixed after these treatments. Cannot do that now the knee replacement that needs to b replaces is finally about done. I will have that done on 21june 8 days after I stop the radiation treatment. Not the kind of season  I was looking forward too.

That bss wrench caught was 6.3. I know the exact place that was. I do nit think he had to use must stelth as much as he had to know where he was. That area is a big spawing area. There is a old lady lives up their that has come down  to the dock a time or two while I was fishing her dock and flirt with me.

Ha ha, you still got it!

I hope your treatments are less painful, you will be back in the saddle soon! God Bless my friend!

  24. Well Seth you notice I did not say I was telling the truth.
  25. They are not biting on LOZ either. Water is not clear as well. Water looked a bit lower at my dock this morning. Just maybe they are figuring on dropoing the level. Might be better going to Table Rock.
