FYI, The time change occurs on March 12 and COE campgrounds opens to the public later that week so if the date is moved other things must be taken into consideration.

It’s with mixed emotions that I let you know my fishing partner and Ozark Angler member patlock (Patrick Loughran) passed away today. Many of you know Patrick from the OAF Tournament as he spent time cooking the hot dogs. Patrick last fished the OAf tourney in 2021 and 3 days later was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He spent the past 22 months fighting the cancer but it spread to other organs. The picture was taken around thanksgiving this year. Since then his health deteriorated rapidly and he spent the last 6 weeks in the hospital and finally he was placed on hospice the past 2 weeks. He will be missed.
RIP Patrick.

Watched his video and he was complaining about the scenery. I must admit I haven’t caught a bass on one of those mountain tops since I don’t remember when.

I submitted the applications to both the MSHP and COE. The time change doesn’t occur until March 12 so the times will be 7:00am - 2:00pm. Same as always, launch from anywhere on Table Rock Lake and the weigh-in is at Eagle Rock.

I only use power pro braid without a leader. I remember Beck saying that fish hit the a-rig with those heavy wires so don’t be afraid to use braid. I can have as many bad days fishing braid as I have with fishing mono or floro.
Mike
Jeff, sounds like a few typical November days. Once the bird hit my windshield, I’d have connected the dots and went to breakfast because a higher power was showing me signs.
Mike
Bill, don’t take it so hard on yourself. Some of us have many days like that. Good luck in the tournament. As they say, “what a difference a day makes.”
Mike
Bobby, it will be interesting to see if the process of seeing fish on the electronics, confirming they are bass with the camera converts to an increased catch rate with your lure.
good luck,
Mike
