  1. Rim Shoals for me, size 20 Dan's turkeytail emerger....got a warning, mashed barb offered some resistance....I questioned the reasoning....."the law says barbless, I am giving you a break for a fly with a mashed down barb...." They may have corrected the law since then?
  2. I will reach out to Danny, the building was leased he may be moving nearer his home in Cassville. His plastics were fantastic when he was hand pouring but lost some quality when they went into production.
  3. Have you looked at Ledgerock Lures Jigs? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Ledgerock_Lures_FlipCast_Jig/descpage-LLFC.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Ledgerock_Lures_Heavy_Finesse_Jig/descpage-LHFJ.html Made in Shell Knob by another good fisherman
  4. @Terrierman@snagged in outlet 3 Gentlemen, the photos need an object for reference..... as I greatly respect you both as fishermen and friends, Ladybear was greatly disappointed in the size of the tool for the price..... not the first time.....
  5. Good deal we are needing rain bad.
  6. I was given a set up video and all ....still in the sealed package. Dang I am a hoarder.
  7. On another note, IF the Ulterra will not stow, due to power issues, DO NOT follow the instructions in the manual, which will require authorized service. The thing is only held on with 4 machine screws, pop the side caps and take it off. When power is restored all is well.
  8. Lithium is not a good mix with the ulterra on my river jet, while lighter when the voltage drops, the battery still has lots, but the ulterra sense the drop and would not deploy until I recharged. Went back to AGM(i don;t like to add water to batteries)
  9. Well after returning from Northern Michigan, Driftless in Wisconsin and North Colorado on a 4 week journey.... Love all of them, trout, walleye, SM, etc. Love the highs of 70s when it is near 100 here. Love and respect each fish and their habitat. Ready to go to the "meth den" and find some hybrids.....wherever there are any fish I love to pursue. Fly is my preferred method, but spinning will work too.....I should never be allowed to touch a baitcaster again.... have been known to use a gig also. Whatever it takes. Just Love fishing and the places they live (except the meth den) Went to a guide friends house in Northern Colorado to watch a couple Meateater shows.....not impressed. Not a fan of most outdoor journalist....sorry @Ryan Miloshewski would rather live it than read it.
  10. Local Chevy dealer wanted $450 to replace tpms sensors..... bought these $20 https://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Monitoring-Replacement-13586335-13581558/dp/B09JYFS7F6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=DYOXPPG1PO4C&keywords=tpms+sensor&qid=1690632994&sprefix=tpms%2Caps%2C157&sr=8-5 tire shop installed and programed for $10 a tire......$60 no light.
  11. Now now Rick, you left off the long rough gravel road trip up there and the Grizzly bear infestation. Actually I do carry bear spray and a side arm fishing up there anymore. Seen a guy wear them out up there with 15lb on a zebco 33 using a mepps......impressed me.
  12. Sorry Dutch
  13. Curtisce I run the 10" on LS, the 93sv is hooked to my Ultrex with the adapter. With LS I do not need side image on the trolling motor, really do not need the down sonor but it reassures me. Of course the SI is hooked to console. The other transducers sit in the shed waiting for my next trip to Truman when I knock one off. You will want all the screen you can get on the livescope my two cents.
  14. Ladybear and I went back yesterday. Did try the "magic swimbait" It was the dink master, do not know how fish that small could get it in their mouth. Basically same pattern, lake has been pulled down about 3 feet, 16 fow, over brush piles, say back cast over count down just the top of brush reel slowly. Only 11 keepers, many not getting it good and lost on way to boat. Beautiful day to be out. Took her to Pomedirita's for supper great day.. The carrot stick in a pearl 1/16 jig head and glimmer blue joker on a 1/16 road runner head were the producers for us.
  15. Attention Norfork Tailwater trout anglers! Please see the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers press release below regarding work and hydropower unit (turbine) outages at Norfork Dam. While work is ongoing, the siphon (used for minimum flow) will run continuously and they will use conduits (i.e., sluice gates) that run under Norfork Dam to make additional water releases. Water released through conduits will be cold and well oxygenated, so we do not anticipate any issues with the trout population at this time. However, we will monitor water quality closely throughout the tailwater while the hydropower units are unavailable. Since the timing and duration of water releases from the conduits will vary, we encourage anglers to be extremely mindful of water levels when fishing on the tailwater. Please contact us with any concerns regarding the trout population while this work is ongoing. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Press Release (6.6.23): “Ongoing work at Norfork Dam will require [hydropower] unit outages over the next several months and may cause tailwater, rain and siphon data to not populate on our website and app. During these outages, the siphon will be running continuously, and the conduits will be used to make cold water releases and pass flood waters until hydropower units are available to resume generation. The timing and duration of the conduit releases will vary based on pool elevation and downstream water temperatures. You can still view total water release information on our website at www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil and on our app during outages. The app can be found in mobile app stores by searching for USACE Little Rock.”

  17. Did try some Jbraid and it preformed pretty good......
  18. Did not, my rod to throw it has failing nano...... Will likely try next trip. Griz Jr. usually keeps me busy netting fish and tying jigs..... switched him to a slip bobber 6-7 ft down with a baby bass and crappie nibble
  19. Griz Jr. was off so we went to Pomme again, after some Dr. apts and task this morning. Got on water at 11, same deal as last week, but lake 1.5 lower so, 15 FOW lay back cast jig count to 6-7 reel slow in. Took 4.5 hrs to get double limit, again slab slayers best bite. Warm but a decent breeze Good Day
