The trip when I found color was definitely important was a dark and stormy night tournament on Table Rock. My partner was absolutely kicking my tail on tomato red salt craws. I couldn't get a bite on any other of the normal colors fished at night and he only had 6 of them. Finally he tossed a torn up one in the bottom of the boat, I rigged it up, bam first cast landed the only fish I caught all night.
I remember trout fishing in the mountain lakes in Arizona that the state stocked regularly. Definitely could tell a fresh stocked fish from on that had been in the lake for a while, a different taste and texture.
Last time I got glasses my exam was 50-60 bucks, self pay. Government, big Pharma and the insurance companies all help increase health care costs. Medicine and surgeries are cheaper overseas.
Do you need something other than just plywood screwed into the top rail? I've modded several aluminum flat and V boats to add foot controlled motors to the bow. You can add additional bracing to the underside if you just do a section in one of the corners.
The only guy I knew who did full time tackle making using a spin-casting setup like that was very diligent about getting tested regularly for lead exposure.
I guess you won't be flying in any newer model aircraft either, digital flight controls have been used starting with the F-16 way back in the late 70's.
You mean I shouldn't mention a bait .Bo himself, turned me on too? Just looked and the price on them is way up from a couple years ago.

I've fish most every mono/co-polymer, from Ande to Yo-Zuri. Settled on Izorline Platinum for baitcasters, XXX for spinning rods. It's fairly cheap for large spool, very tough but handles well. Sunline takes care of fluorocarbon for me.
