    I was on Rayburn in the first week of March one year when winds were blowing out the northwest at 30+ mph and the waves were at least 8 feet high .Looked just like an angry ocean ,scary indeed.

    If you took a boat out in the middle of Rayburn at the dam area and headed north west you could run about 50 miles on a compass heading and never turn your steering wheel.It is about 4 miles wide at the dam.

    Heck my Lamsons and Waterworks are fine reels. I have caught many 20 lb plus kings on them without fail. Also they work pretty good on nice trout. Never any problems. I know some guys that could mess up a steal ball with a rubber mallet .
