I just might watch that game, be interesting to see how Locke does, he's projected to be the first QB taken in the draft now that the Oregon QB has committed to playing another year at Oregon.

St Croix Premier series has some shorter pistol grip rods. BPS has a few models, ST Croix website has the whole series. Reasonably priced with a good warranty. I don't have any Premier models, so I can't offer any experience with them. You can call St Croix and I bet they will give you the lowdown on them.

I bet that pudding is tasty, but should be called "Sugar with nuts and dairy products", LOL. I love fudge but have tried to stop eating it as it is basically sugar with butter and chocolate.

I'm due to get a new pair myself - doing a little research and I came across this: You may wonder why there is such a significant difference in the price of polarized sunglasses and if the extra cost is worth it. Glasses can be inexpensively polarized by attaching the film to the outside of the lenses. Two factors make this method less desirable. The film will eventually peel away from the lens; it’s just not as durable. Also, precision placement of the film is crucial. If it’s placed off the vertical axis some polarizing powers will be lost. Higher quality, higher priced glasses feature lenses with the polarizing film sandwiched between lens layers, encapsulating it. Placement is aligned exactly for optimum performance. This process results in superior clarity, better peripheral vision, and lasting durability. I have had the lenses with the film on the outside, you have to be careful not to leave them on the dashboard on a hot sunny day as it can damage the film. Next pair I will definitely be asking whether the film is on the outside or sandwiched between the lens layers. My guess is most of the premium priced glasses use the sandwich method, but I would certainly check beforehand.

15-20 is not a bad day. Seems like 2 weeks ago they were starting to move in, but now they seem to be backing off.

Wouldn't be a bad idea for a reality show, start off with a bunch of contestants, each doing forecasts for their local area, say a week out, narrow it down on a weekly basis to an eventual champ. Might seem boring, but look at the success of the Weather Channel.

I'll have to research "spatchcooked". Used to catch shrimp in Puget Sound, always cooked them in Old Bay, very tasty. If anyone is bored, do a search on "Hood Canal Shrimp", several videos on there on the recreational fishery.

I love leftover turkey on a sandwich. White bread, mayo and turkey slices. I'm with you BH, should cook these things more often - and they are relatively cheap.

Couple weeks ago caught a spotted bass on Table Rock that spit out a BRIGHT pink worm, looked like a Zoom Trick worm, but it was a little beat up so hard to tell the brand. Nobody around me at the time and as the fish had not swallowed it, it must have just picked it up right before I caught it. I'm guessing someone lost that worm in the past and that fish picked it on the bottom.

They may not, but they'll eat it out of spite. Evil creatures they are.

Never was close to a lot of the boats out there, but I did see one guy chucking that A-rig.

Heckuva lot better than I did fishing up the White. I caught 7 bass on the Ned rig, good early bite, then they just quit on me. In compensation, it was about a nice a day for December as you can ask for. Lots of other fishermen out too. Saw the same temps up the White, 46-48.

I really hate it when I lose Unidentified Fishy Objects. (UFO). I really like to be able to identify what it was that got off.

As I understand it this is a partial shutdown which does not involve the Department of Defense. COE reports to the DOD, so I don't believe we will see any closures at COE facilities. But I could be wrong. You could always call one of the COE field offices, there is one in Rogers and ask them. If there is a shutdown, you can still access the lake, just won't be able to use the COE ramps at the parks.

Never caught one, but I hear they are good to eat.

I asked an AGFC fisheries biologist that question and he told me these bass hybrids are capable of spawning.
