  1. We couldn’t find anything deeper than 10’. The surface temp was 49-53° and the color of sassafras tea with a spoonful of milk.
  2. My neighbor and I went to Cape Fair today. It was 27° when we arrived and 48° when we left. We saw few boats today. We fished from Cape to Piney. We used spinner baits, swim baits, shaky and Ned. The only thing that produced was the Ned. We nrver had a bite on anything else. We caught fish everywhere we stopped except for the first place. Many colors of TRDs produced with June bug and Alabama craw being best. We only had 3 keepers but we caught a total of 57 bass in 5 1/2 hours.
  3. I will trade you a gallon of plastisol for 5 pks of Keitechs up to 3 gallons for 15 pks.

Sounds good, let me see how many I have! Let me know the next time you're coming this way and you can bring the plastic with you!

  4. How many packs do you have? Maybe we can do a trade.
  5. He is located in Buzzard a couple of miles from Cape Fair by water.
  6. Have you talked to Kelly about consignment? He sold Dusty’s Nitro for him.
  7. So do you still have the older Ranger that we used? I saw some keitechs. How many pkgs do you have. What size are they? How much per pack?
  8. I thought she was with DHS. Has that changed?

Thanks for the info. I don't go above High Poiint. The last time I did it cost me $800.

Any news on them yet? I’ve not heard a thing yet. I’m thinking about Sons in the morning and maybe on up to CC.
  11. “Honey bucket”?
  12. I really don’t care what you think but I don’t appreciate the fact that you are basically calling me a liar, but what can I expect from a guy who knows everything about everything. I think you are showing a one sided bias in your total support for items that have gone belly up and haven’t been produced for quite a while. As far as your beloved Johnrudes go I owned several and only had one that didn’t blow up.
  13. I am anything but a tech. I did own an Optimax 225 for 14 years. When I sold it, it had over 800 hours on it. It only had regular maintenance done on it by a friend of mine who is a Merc factory trained mechanic. His advice from the get go was never leave the launch unit the Smart Craft gauge showed at least 120°. I always followed that procedure and still do with my 7 year old Verado.
  14. I was considering Cape Fair tomorrow so I ran down there this morning. Nope, not going, nasty looking water with debris everywhere.
  15. You better behave yourself because I bet he knows where you live.🤣
  16. I just checked my weather ap and it shows a flood warning for a lot of the Table Rock drainage. It looks like it is already up a foot. We have standing water all over the yard. I don’t know how much we’ve had because my rain gauge is not out yet. The Springfield airport is maybe 10 miles away and they have had 1.92” in the last 24 hours and most of it is headed south. How much have you guys gotten?
  17. Congrats on another good day. Did you catch any more meanmouth or good smallmouth? You may have to brake down and throw that thing. I have 2 tied on in the rod locker but have not pulled them out yet.
  18. Cassville decided years ago that school should be canceled on March 1.
  19. I got such a butt waxing that I kept sliding around in my seat on the way home. Jeff had a 3# spot today. Thanks for the swim bait lessons.
  20. Wasn’t Bill Davenport on of the big sticks back then?
  21. Remember what the weights were when the Arig first came on the scene?
  22. Then why post about it here?
  23. If it sounds too good to be true….
  24. He does good work. Before he started his company we would send each other hooks to be used in molds that the other guy didn’t have. Now he has way more molds than I do.
