ness Posted February 18, 2024 Author Posted February 18, 2024 Breakfast is underrepresented here in my opinion. So… Breakfast casserole Guac on toast Ham and cheese grits, etc. Terrierman, BilletHead, rps and 1 other 4 John

Terrierman Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 In honor of the best cook here - RPS - tonight it's tater tot hot dish. A layer of browned hamburger with onion, garlic, Lea and Perrins, salt and pepper, layer of cream of mushroom soup, layer of Italian green beans, salt and pepper on the beans, healthy layer of shredded colby jack and then - the crowning glory - a layer of tater tots, seasoned with "The Gospel". Then 45 +/- minutes at 375. rps, BilletHead, Flysmallie and 2 others 5
ness Posted February 20, 2024 Author Posted February 20, 2024 Our favorite Italian restaurant, Jasper’s, has this signature dish called Cappelini d’Angelo Alla Nanni. (Phew!) Essentially angel hair pasta, tomato cream sauce with pancetta, mushrooms, Romano cheese and peas. Jasper shared the recipe (mostly) and I did it tonight with a few tweaks. The best thing we’ve done in a while, and we will definitely do it again. rps and Terrierman 2 John

The green are beans slow cooked down in chopped tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, and seven spice. The other are cabbage rolls, Lebanese home style: long, slender, no tucked ends. ness and Terrierman 2
