Johnsfolly
Quick udon noodle and shrimp dish. Sauted carrot, savoy cabbage ginger, and garlic. Added fish sauce and sesame oil. Then into vegetable stock. Added frozen udon noodles until they were cooked. Sauted shrimp in oil and Chinese sabal chili sauce. Added those on top of the noodles and topped with green onions. rps
Older daughter has been visiting. Family gatherings have led to good restaurants. The wife and I have eaten three weeks of meals in three days. Tonight, we had a salad. Leaves, tomato, kalamata olives, onion, capers, herbed dressing, feta, and smoked mussels. Tomorrow, the whole damfam will come for the pulled pork and horseradish coleslaw Memorial Day sliders. BilletHead
Mrs. BilletHead and I did some fly rod bluegill fishing Saturday. Caught a bunch and kept 8 for a meal. Did like grandma did and left them whole instead of filleting. Love the flavor of the skin and crispy tail. Onion petals and salad. Garden lettuce has been good to us. ness, Quillback, Johnsfolly and 4 others 7 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" I have venison shanks and a curry recipe that I want to try. Just been doing a lot of travel for fishing and haven't made the time for a 3 hour braise meal.
