I see nothing  with you making money Lilly. As far as I know you run a good place. What I object to is greed. I am the the first generation that has never seen the inside of a coal mine. I heard all my young life about greedy coal and  mine operators. When I see everything connected to fishing selling at prices far above what they are worth. That is greed plain and simple to me So much of it is made in China for a few dines and sold here at the least for several dollars. That is pure greed as well. I also regard it as un-American. Looks to me like the goals of tackle manufactures is to just take advantage of the consumer. Just a few weeks ago all the dimes companies are spending in China showed up on our West coast in the form of Chinese war ships. They were out there probing Is  what they were doing. Looking for ways that might benefit them in case of war. And that should be scary  folks.

If I worked hard for a company that gave excess money away while denying me a substantial raise I'd be pretty sour about that.

OMG!   Rolling money that you don't need/want back to your employees and customers instead of feeding it to some church is SOCIALISM ?     I had no idea.

If it is legally earned income and.is more than someone needs/wants (even if not more) it is the business owners to do with as he pleases.  Whether that be to re-invest it in the company, build retirement or capital improvements fund, give as bonuses or pay raises to employees, donate it to a church or some philanthropic organization or wander around giving out $100 bills.  Definitely NOT socialism, in fact it would seem to me to be the opposite of socialism.

Being TOLD you have to do that, with consequences if you don't, is.

Agreed.   Nobody wants or deserves to be told what to do with their extra earnings. But what you do with them does define you, especially in the eyes of those less fortunate.

Agreed.  Jesus said to take care of the widows, orphans and the poor.  That's not being done very well.
