Moswimb8slinger Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 I was scrolling threw Target Walleye's visitor posts on Facebook, and found this pic of a large walleye, apparently caught from Table Rock and the picture looks as if it was taken on Phil's dock. The pics was from late August/early Sept, I for got the date on it. dan hufferd, abkeenan, Brian Jones and 2 others 5
JestersHK Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Wow! Thats a big walleye. I saw a monster walleye earlier this year down in the Taney trophy area... I run a red lens on my headlamp at night and you can see the eyes and even watch them follow your bait back in. The space between those eyes on that fish was twice as wide as what I usually see on an 18-20 inch fish... Thanks for sharing. dan hufferd and terryj1024 2
merc1997 Bo Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 yep, that is a whopper. there are some real whoppers in table rock, and i guess we may not have that many walleye chasers on table rock. it will not be long that they gang up in the mouth of the kings river. one year early winter i caught one that weighed 14lb. 5oz., and that same time frame we caught several 5 to 7lb. ones in that same area while bass fishing. there were many of the same looking markings further out suspended. hand landing a 14lb. walleye is quite a challenge too, i might add. bo Daryk Campbell Sr, shark bait, dan hufferd and 3 others 6

nomolites Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That is a toad to be sure. Jealous of you that have one in that class... Mike

Sounds fishy to me. No doubt there are walleye that size in TR but when you start noticing things like no leaves in August/September, it kinda destroys the credibility of the report. bfishn Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 That boat's often been in the right spot at the right time. All I question is the August part. 14s aren't caught every day, but it happens more often than you'd think. We just don't talk about it much... Champ188 1 I can't dance like I used to.
Jerry Rapp Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 come on Richy, you can troll better than that out of your kayak!
