quilback------ Just do not baby it. I have beeen through knee replacement three times. Last one was a revision. Much depends on who the surgeon was did and your own rehab.. First time I done both and    I had a real bad time with the left knee. It failed finally and I went to a surgeon that teaches hip and knee replacement  at MIZZOU. Took him less than 2 hours to do the revision and I started walking on it around the house in 2 weeks. It was pain free in about a month. Those bone guys up at MIZZOU are really something.  We may have just been born a few years to early Quillback. They have found a way to grow cartilage up there and process it into various forms and replace cartilage. They have allready done some of this on a limited basis .

I go back To MIZZOU the 28th to have a left shouoder replaced. The surgeon is another teacher at up there.

Ham the replacements are not infinite 20-25 years is a real good run. Depending on your activities.

You guys fhat fish a whole lot need to be consrvative with your casting shoulders. Lots of guys around LOZ in there 40s and 50s have complaints about their casting arm.

Texted with him yesterday and he's in great spirits. Donna and I plan to go visit one evening next week. Will report back.

Hate to see a man down but this does give me a chance to sweep up any overstock of hot lures at Hook, Line & Sinker and keep QB relegated to online shopping at Tackle Warehouse. I don't expect any dropoff in his buying power there, however, since the hands and fingers are normally unaffected by knee replacement procedures.

We are also fishing Saturday and perhaps Sunday, too ... depending on Saturday's results and the weather ... and I have every intention of running all of his holes. Every last one. And I'm relocating all of the keepers to mine.

I think someone already caught all the fish at Big M according to this graph and hiding them somewhere...lol

Just think if you'd have gone to KU med  instead - they probably could have just restored your originals and made em' like new!

Seriously, I hope they get you taken care of.  Pain and non-functioning body parts are not the best part of the aging process as best I can tell.
