I second what Wrench said. Brought in a pair that had a leaky seam and got a brand new pair.  They aren't that bad either TBH.

I use the Bass pro white River ones.  I'm on my 4th set and I go through about a pair every year.  Once I get a hole I just exchange them for new ones.  I expected to pay for new ones the last 2 times since it had been over a year past the warranty.  Check out lady said they go by the date they rang out my replacements

I was like are you sure? And she said yep just go get a new pair... Happened twice so far, but I think they know they are cheap.

You will get a hole, I promise.  Until you spring a leak they are pretty comfy, and fit me like a glove.

I did pick up some of the Cabela's brand wading boots this year.  I highly recommend them.  I wanted some BOA type boots, but got a good deal on the lace ups.  They have great ankle support and great grip on the soles.  I'll still likely stud mine, but they've held up great this post season for a $90 boot.

I have the Sims Freestone and like them, but when I need to replace them I will buy Basspro White River Osprey. Have bought two pair for family members and they have been using them for two years with no problems. In their latest Ad, they are marked down $50 to $89.97. Might buy a pair just to have a good back-up.

The upgraded Ospreys are pretty nice.  My cuz has a pair and loves them.  They seem to be made better with thicker material in the knees and posterior.  Thats a great buy at $90.  I know SIMMS makes awesome gear and has a great warranty.  I know I would end up using the warranty though...  I'm all for buy once cry once, but I originally bought my white river ones with the mindset of being semi-disposable.  They were $70 on sale and figure if I get 2 seasons out of them then thats awesome.  If I only got 2 seasons out of my SIMMS at $400 I'd prolly cry a little.  Although I guess you can just keep warrantying them.

Anyone have experience with SIMMS wader warranty?  Will they replace them no questions asked?

I believe they will but I think you have to send them in.

I don't think BPS or Cabela's will let you just go in there and swap them out like you can with their house brands.

We love our Simms and have never had any real trouble from them. They have a 30 day no questions asked replacement. After that the first year if it is a manufacture defect they will repair. We have never had a manufacture failure. Any problems we have had was our fault. Pinholes. I have fixed them myself. We did after quite a few years buy another set each when we found a good deal. We then sent in our originals for standard repair. They charge 40 bucks plus shipping for standard repair and 65 bucks for advanced repair. The Mrs. waders they charged if I remember right the 40 and they put new tape on the seams and found a pinhole or two. Mine they did the same plus replaced the boot foots and gravel guards. Cost me the 65. Both pair we still doing fine when we sent them in but now they are like brand new again.

I couple of years ago we sent two pairs of 10 year old Simms waders in to have the suspenders replaced. They also replaced the booties and all the seam tape on the inside for $50.00 each. Last winter we sewed in some gussets to reinforce the suspended connection. So far we are going on 12 years of really hard use.
