I have a real boga grip. It cost about $135 and that was 14-15 years ago. I split a rainbow's jaw with it in Alaska and never used it for holding a fish again. I found it to be great for bear protection while up in Alaska. One crack to the knee of any guest and I was sure to be able to out run them if any bear decided to charge. It also worked great for dispatching salmon just before bleeding them out.  It has been sitting in a box in my storage for about 10 years now.  If anyone is interested in it for bear protection or as a fish billy club, I'd let it go pretty cheap. Probably $10 or so. Might be some salmon blood on it.

I really will sell it......or maybe we could trade a zig jig lesson on the white for it.....

Maybe Bret can film that!!!

I'll trade trips anytime. White or Norfork for Taney or Upper Bull Shoals. I'll still buy the Boga.

I'll just give to you on our winter get together. I'll have to dig around in a few boxes to find it. Just taking up space at my place.

fish can be pretty tough, but not that tough... never used one.....had only one serous hook in my hand..But most of my fishing has been done with single hooks...

if you goal is to avoid hooks, then there are ways to do so without damaging fish...we all have seen pics of rough fish handling..usally its through ignorance...but some its indifference.....

some people are just scared of getting yucky on there hands..the towel trouters come to mind.....but then again its only roaring river....
