Mitch f Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 We now have a smaller finesse version (3") of our craw available. Here it is next to out 4" flagship craw. The creek guys are going bonkers! JestersHK, timinmo, BilletHead and 4 others 7 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Al Agnew Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 The guys have been supplying me with the little ones for a while...I think they are superior to the bigger version for winter fishing if the water is as clear as it usually is in the winter. Mitch f, Seth, trythisonemv and 2 others 5
top_dollar Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Wow those are some sweet looking little lures. Mitch f 1

Actually this size was the first size that was created based on input from Al Agnew......so it's his fault!!😂 Johnsfolly, trythisonemv, timinmo and 1 other 4 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Al Agnew Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Just to clarify, though...Mitch took my recommendation as including the pincers in the length, while I intended it to be the body only. Actually, I think there is an optimum size window, and the small ones are at lower side of the window, the bigger ones at the upper side. And I think these smaller ones are going to prove just as good under MANY circumstances, and better in some circumstances, as the bigger ones. Whenever I've been using one size and it wasn't working, often switching to the other size worked. Water with some color (like the Meramec in the summer), I'm gonna fish the big one first. Water that's clear (like Meramec in winter), I'll start out with the small one. Doesn't really matter to me how big the water is. Mitch f 1
XP 590 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 You guys are going to turn me into a traditional tackle fisherman with this stuff! Not a fly rod snob, but that's really all I enjoy......which I guess does make me a fly rod snob On the plus side though, I did catch my first bass on a crawdad fly pattern this weekend. I worked up Duane Hada's Creek Crawler, to the best of my ability, and it worked like a champ.
