Fishrman
Fished Bull Shoals yesterday, club tourney. Had 4 that weighed 10 lbs. Caught them on wiggle wart and plopper. Windy was the word of the day. Only boated 6 all day, lucky that 4 kept. Tried spinner and jerk, but nothing on them. All fish came in creeks or larger coves for me. Some braved the wind and caught them on bluffs on main lake. Winning weight was 17.7. Big fish was 6.3. Most said crank was their weapon of choice. Water temp was 54-55 most all day. Sprint21fter
Fished the same Derby, humbling is all I can say for the day. Had enough keeper bites to have double digits for weight but didn't get them in the boat. Mix of crankbait/arig. Next time out the fish better be alert cause I will be mad at them! Happy Holidays! abkeenan, Fish24/7, magicwormman and 1 other

vernon
Never fished an A-rig in my life and seein's how now I'm too old to even lift one much less fling it I guess I never will. So on my death bed I'm gonna say that I lived a "pure" life! So I got that workin' for me. Which is nice. Sore Thumbs
Jig/crank still the dominant bait at Beaver. The jerkbait bait is starting to come on a little. The water temp around mid lake is 53 degrees. I’m surprised it’s still that warm with all the cold weather we have had. Sprint21fter
They are still biting topwaters if you put it in the right places: ex: big black rock. It was a dominant pattern in the Team Championship on Norfork this week. In years past I have caught nice topwater fish when the water temps are colder than this. Its all a reaction bite! Better have sharp sharp hooks! magicwormman, cheesemaster, Sore Thumbs and 1 other
Sore Thumbs
I believe it. Just seems to be random on finding topwater fish. Gotta be at the right place at the right time.
