I only get to see the rediculousness when someone quotes it.

"the street creds of Orvis"

Did he really say that?      Wow.

I keep thinking I am gonna do the ignore thing, but it's like watching a slow motion car wreck,  I just can't look away.  Yet.

Just do it. You won’t regret it. You’ve seen the car wreck already. It doesn’t get any more interesting the more times you see it.

But it's like this video, absolutely silly, seen it a thousand times and still laugh at it every time.  It could be time to admit I have a problem, is there a "step" program to help me.  Well the video link didn't work, if for some reason you want to see it, just Google "stinky monkey video"

Phil could get rid of this Putz, but guess that he is kinder than Christ, and more patient than Job.

Yeah, I'm still here.

Thanks Phil!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his
level and beat you with experience

Some people just need a sympathetic pat, on the head…with a hammer

In an episode of "Cheers," Cliff Clavin, the trivia-spouting, quirky, irksome mama's boy mailman is seated at the bar describing the buffalo theory to his buddy, Norm Peterson, the beer loving heavyweight bar stool sitting perpetual patron.

Cliff expounds his "Buffalo Theory" to Norm:

“Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

Phil is just giving us a chance......

MoCarp I sincerely hope you get back to fishing strength soon, I have been there and know it sucks.  Besides then you can post pics of big carp you catch, of course with all the background blurred out.  Heck I will even offer to go fishing with you, if you have any place fairly near to me, and can stand being around a known, stabber, and eater of carp. I will even pose for a photo holding a carp, but we don't have to use one of the hammock looking things to land it do we?
