Dave Not sure as I don't use them. I know they produce some good gear as a lot of local TR guys use them. But if you are in the market for some jigs I would suggest picking up a couple of Bo's NuTech' s to at least try. One, he is a board member here and two they flat out work. Only jig I've used for the last 3-4 years. No I am not sponsored by him or hawking his product for personal gain. I have no skin in the game. They just do as they claim (hard to snag and hit home in the roof of the mouth 99% of the time) and again supporting a board member here should be kinda a no brainer. And I NEVER agree with anything this guy has to say! I had most of my stuff stolen out of the boat four years ago and when I was replacing jigs I bought a bunch of Bo's to try and I liked them so much that I never got around to buying any other kind. They are now literally the only brand of jigs in my boat. I have different styles, sizes and colors, some skirted and some naked but they're all NuTech. The only problem is it still seems like I have way too many jigs in the boat as I very seldom lose one! These babies are as advertised! abkeenan 1 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." George Carlin "The only money ever wasted is money never spent." Me.
Champ188 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Wish NuTech would add a 5/16 finesse jig with a collared skirt to their lineup. I'd definitely try one of those. Royal Blue 1
Quillback Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I shouldn't even post this picture, as a matter of fact a few minutes ago a 5 lb. bass came flying through my window and attacked my computer screen when I had this picture on it. (OK, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration). crazy4fishin 1

I bought a couple of the "NuTech NuJig Elite Naked Head" last year. Tied my own rubber skirts on them bad boys. I took them to the cypress tree oxbows of middle Arkansas. Man, let me say this, I've never seen a lure so weedless around cypress knees. I could literally put it anywhere I wanted & it would swim out of there. If you've ever fished around cypress then you know how difficult that can be. In 3 days of roll casting them under cypress limbs I caught back to back 20lb bags & I only lost 1 jig. That jig was lost because a double digit bass snapped 25lb Xcaliber line at the boat. There was literally nothing I could do with that fish except hang on. First time I've ever gotten busted off by a fish with 25lb line.
Mitch f Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 So the NuTech spinnerbait works very well too. It’s a NuTech jig with a spinnerbait blade attached. I’ll literally throw the spinnerbait in a brush pile and bounce it out. Rarely gets hung Royal Blue and Flysmallie 2 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Seth Clarkson Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 For an all around jig which type of the NuTech should I try? I went to the website and saw that there was an option to compare different types, but even though it pops up saying this jig has been added to compare, the area where you select to look at the comparison continues to show that none have been selected to compare no matter how many I add. Anyone else have this issue?
