Ok what concerts have you been to that a noteworthy at least to you.

First concert was 38 Special and Kansas. We had 12th row seats.

Best concert for me was the Eagles - three hours of just them and they let Joe Walsh be Joe Walsh

Saw Joe Walsh in Rockefeller center and we got our section screaming for him to play ILBTs but he wouldn't do it. Look it up or PM me if you want the real song title. That was my anthem back in high school. Even had a personalized license plate with it as well. Oh and Stevie Nicks was there but we left during her show.

Saw Ray Charles in Ft Lauderdale

Most underdressed was when we went to a Jean Pierre Rampal concert in Boston.

Saw the Turtles at a music festival in Bethlehem PA, also the Mommas and Pappas.

Got alcohol service as a minor at a David Gilmour concert in the Hartford symphony hall.

Most relaxing concert was James Taylor at an open air amphitheater. We sat and laid on blankets on a grassy hill. Vendors came around with mixed drinks in pressurized backpacks.

Biggest disappointment was having stayed out to get 3rd and 5th row tickets for a Blue Oyster Cult show that they postponed and made all tickets general admission. So pissed I didn't go to the show. Just got my money back. My son loves to point that out anytime Godzilla or Don't fear the Reaper comes on the radio

Took the kids to see the Blue man group. That was a lot of fun. Not a concert but enjoyed the two Harlem Globetrotter games that we went to with the kids as well ;).

Memorable concerts from the mid-late '70s that I don't remember...

The Kinks, JJ Cale, Steve Miller (by himself, he was so drunk he fell off his stool...), Asleep At The Wheel, Grateful Dead, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Ronny Hawkins (I was so drunk I fell off my stool).

Ones I do remember;

Billy Joel, the day The Stranger went gold... awesome.

The Eagles Hotel Cali tour with Nitty Gritty, Vassar Clements, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne... awesome.

John Prine & Iris DeMent... awesome.

The Band with the Cate Bros. awesome

Guy Clark. awesome

By far the best was Little Feat & Tower of Power doing Waiting for Columbus lick-by-lick. Beyond awesome.

I can't dance like I used to.

When I saw Aerosmith in the 80's a couple was arrested for having sex and Steven Tyler wanted to know what song got them motivated. The warmups were Rose Tattoo and Pat Travers (Boom Boom out go the lights!)

I also saw the Kinks in the 80's and Billy Joel when he released the Nylon Curtain album. FYI there never were any steel mills in Allentown. They were all located in Bethlehem and Hellertown PA.

Van Halen in OKC

Metallica in KC

U2 in old Busch Stadium for Zoo TV tour.

The Black Crowes in Springfield.

The Doobie Brothers

Skid Row (twice in one week)

Warrant

Pantera

Dio

Marilyn Manson

Megadeath

POD

Lit

Alien Ant Farm

Stone Temple Pilots

Alice in Chains (They sucked)

The Allman Brothers Band. Worst band I have ever seen live. Just a complete boring show. And that even includes all the country bands that I've seen and don't care to list.

The Jonas Brothers show was better than the Allman Brothers.

There's a bunch more. I need to make a complete list sometime.

And then when you get to regional bands the list is massive. Still some great music and shows though.
