Live shows recent . . . .

Jeff Tweedy at the Sheldon.  Hard to describe how good it was, and I won't try.  He is our current Bob Dylan.

Little Feat last week.  Still rocking.  Fred Tackett hasn't lost a beat.  Tight, tight band.  And I'm not into jam bands, but they are the original, and they don't overdo it.

Joseph and Sawyer at Delmar Hall.  All girl groups,  Joseph is 3 sisters.  Amazing harmonies.

Jakes Leg at Venice Cafe, . . .authentic experience.  I haven't been there in 20 years, that place is so cool.  Rock steady Grateful Dead band going on now 40 years + and still grooves.  You Win Again was a highlight.

Elvis Costello and the Imposters w/ Nick Lowe the weekend before that in Indiana.

A group of us were supposed to do an overnight float a couple of weeks ago but a big rain the night before made for a change of plans. We retreated to a cabin and an old member here @Wheatenheimer decided to entertain.

             Thank you Ronnie.

If anybody likes him, Childers is about to release a new album.

Saw him in June in KC and it was top three concerts I've been to. He opened with "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." Sold me from the start. Did an acoustic set and played another 2.5 hours.

Robbie Robertson just moved on.

Thank you. Just seen that on the evening news. Nice version of the The Weight I have never heard that one.

That's from The Last Waltz, IMO the best concert before or since, in movie form. Get that DVD or download it somewhere, you'll thank me.

I can't dance like I used to.
