Again, I've been to LOZ many times and CAN compare it to Table Rock. There is no comparison in my opinion. That's all I have to say to you. Just keep on living what years you have left in your typical condescending and negative existence. With nine brothers and three sisters. I learned at a very young age to always, and I mean always, pick up a turd by the clean end. 💩 I'm just saying. 😉 Royal Blue, JestersHK, abkeenan and 1 other 1 3 Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... The is just rest your just run off your mouth without the slightest understanding of what your talking about. We put 500 homes on the Gravois on a central sewer plant just a a few years ago. Notice I said central plant not some subdivision collection pool. Anytime waste water goes into the ground it stays here. Cutting out the solids like I have been told they do down there means nothing there is still most of the impurities. Yes I will continue to live my life. I will not be pushing people to buy expensive things. I will continue offer some tips. And they are real tips mostly that have to do with Technique. Something else I do not think you understand.
Bushbeater Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Settle down kids, before you get quiet time. No need for the bickering. We have some Cherrywoods, and Lightning Rods, and both are very good for their price range. But I don't think they compare in weight or sensitivity to any $100 rod. Just my humble opinion. Go catch some fish guys. mixermarkb and Royal Blue 2
fishinwrench Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 When I think about the ways some people piss their money away, fishing rods don't even pop into my mind. If you ever need the money back, a true quality rod will sell for 1/2 to 3/4 of what you paid for it. A Berkley Cherrywood might bring 1.50 in a garage sale. The blanks are ok (about what was considered top of the line in 1982) but guide spacing is horrible and the reel seat isn't all that awesome. If you bought one and rebuilt it you could have a pretty decent crankbait rod.....but if you value your time any at all, in my opinion, you're better off just spending 100.00 or thereabouts for a decent rod with a decent warranty. aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 The higher end companys have a replacement program even if you dont have the receipt. I got a Cara replaced for $65 i think, no questions asked, just sent in the piece of the handle with the specs on it. So you can spend a lot of money once and even if you break it over your knee you can get a replacement without breaking the bank mixermarkb and Champ188 2

I just assumed there would be no replacement for that.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 i guess you SOL at that point. How often does everyone lose a rod overboard? I can only think of cheap crappie rod that ive lost in the last 6-8 years. Ive broke probably 5 nice rods in the last 5 years. Couple times my fault, and a couple times broke on a cast or hookset I got a new Browning Airstream at Bass Pro a couple months ago and i got the two year replacement for $14. She told me that in two years to break it over my knee and bring it in for the replacement. And she said thats what they were told to tell customers. slothman 1
slothman Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 I accidentally knocked one off the the deck in October. Fortunately, I was able to reach in and grab it before it sank out of reach. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up, I lost my balance, and I fell in after it (only time in my life I’ve ever fallen out of a boat). Lol. I did manage to save the rod though. vernon 1
