Squirrel season too, if I remember right, it has been a while.

Love squirrel hunting in the Fall after the ticks and chiggers go to sleep, but never much cared for carrying around dead squirrels for a couple hours on a hot day.  I prefer my meat to start cooling off immediatly after it hits the ground.

Opening day of dove season is usually too warm for fresh meat also.  I guess if a guy packed a cooler to toss them in it would be ok.

Oh I kiss them after they are done being fried up.

If you don't use them to me they are useless.

Trout are the Worst.

Best to me are bluegill, crappie, walleye, and suckers, and flathead belly meat.  Order depends on my mood at the time.

Worst, spoonbill, trout.
