Hunter53 Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Passed up this guy tonight hoping he grows into a really big one. He appears to only be 3 1/2 years old by looking at his body. Sorry for the crappy video but he was 70 yards away and all I had was my iphone to video with. SplitG2, Seth, magicwormman and 6 others 9
Hunter53 Posted December 5, 2018 Author Posted December 5, 2018 This is in Kansas. Wish I had a place to hunt in MO too.
Terrierman Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 It's a nice place and a fine young buck, He will for sure get bigger if he gets the time. Johnsfolly 1
Members elite203 Posted December 5, 2018 Members Posted December 5, 2018 No deer like that in Kansas...
Seth Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 That deer has to be pushing 140" as a 8 pointer, which is a dandy. I'd have a hard time believing he is a 3.5 year old! Is it due to the lack of mass that his rack carries? If you are correct, then that deer is a freak and will blow up to something special.
LD Fisher Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Gotta brag a bit. My 8 year old grandson bagged this one with a crossbow. He's going to have quite a challenge to improve during his hunting career!! 😃 terryj1024, BilletHead, Hunter53 and 7 others 10
JestersHK Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Man he's way out past his ears. Beautiful buck there. Hopefully he makes it through the winter hunting seasons.

I was judging by his body size/composition. You never want to judge by antler size as that can be very misleading either way.
Hunter53 Posted December 5, 2018 Author Posted December 5, 2018 LD Fisher: tell your grandson congrats! He got himself a dandy! LD Fisher 1
