Members Alby Fish Posted December 31, 2018 Members Posted December 31, 2018 Lock is a gamer that’s why he is playing. He also turned down going to the NFL last year. Decided to stay his senior season. Said he owed it to his teammates and coachs. My GUESS at the time he decided to stay he might not have been drafted as high with the other QB’s being drafted. Thus he will drafted hiigher and more money. The Oregon QB staying another year does nothing but help Lock in the draft. Educated decision on his part.

SEC is a 3 team conference Lock was 23/38 for 373 yds 3 TDs and no picks. Tough game, Missouri outgained them 637 to 502 and had 1 turnover to their 2. Biggest thing is they got the Bryant kid from Clemson.
vernon Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I will concede that at least those were the best looking uniforms I've seen MU wear in, like, forever. The absence of their typical "thug from the hood" look was refreshing for a change and I liked the old school Truman the Tiger mascot on their helmets as well. And kudos to the Tiger's top guys for actually playing in a game that they've literally been being paid to play in the first place. Regarding a career ending injury I'm quite certain that all were insured out the gazoo in that unlikely event. Heck, Michael Porter Jr. probably would have made more money had he not been able to play after getting hurt then he did by being drafted. While I'm at it I am also compelled to point out that OSU was 3 - 6 in the massively inferior Big 12 while MU was 4 - 4 in the toughest conference in the history of the game. And had the OSU quarterback now chosen to throw two ridiculous interceptions rather than simple taking the sack this baby wouldn't even have been a game. Just sayin'..... Rock Chalk! snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 I think lock helped himself. Can’t argue the rest.
skeeter Posted January 1, 2019 Posted January 1, 2019 Really tough to beat the most disorganized Officials I've ever seen and the other team too. 14 free Points to OSU compliments of the Officiating crew they hired from Grade School games. + really dumb plays dialed up by the highly touted new Offensive coordinator like the game ender. Had to laugh when the "AutoZone" Bowl TV broadcast on ESPN that included the most terrible camera work ever and numb-nuts play by play "announcers" had a RockAuto commercial get slipped in there.

I think he did also, made some pretty strong throws off his back leg. Strong arm for sure. Mizzou play calling at the end of the game was a head scratcher. snagged in outlet 3, skeeter and Smalliebigs 3
