Blown River Backup

Plans to hang out and fish the Niangua this past weekend didn’t go as planned. The one that needed the trip the most couldn’t make it. Rain just enough to blow the river up. Cold. But luckily there was a trout park close enough to bail us out. 

I took almost zero pics!!

Thanks everyone. I always hesitate to try to make a video because I'm just not very good with it. But the only way to get better is to do it so I'll probably try this more this year. 

Did I mention it was cold on Friday? I think it was hovering somewhere around 16 when the first couple of us arrived. Our 3rd wasn't going to show until Friday evening. So since we couldn't check into the cabin until 3pm the two of us set off to find something to do. It was just too cold to deal with the fishing at this point. The Niangua was up and chocolate so that was out. The park was there but looked exceptionally cold. So we decided to go on a drive and find a place to warm some metal.
