I dunno how many of you guys buy what the Farmer's Almanac has to say (I do but only when it parallels what I wanna hear) but their long range spring forecast is calling for exceptionally cold and wet for Kansas and Missouri THROUGH MAY!

Consequently, I currently think the Almanac is a bunch of bullpoop.........

We were in Palm Springs for eight days the week before last and we're accustomed to 80's and 90's out there and have only seen it so much as sprinkle one time in eleven years.

However, this trip, we only even sniffed 70 one day and on Valentine's Day a storm blew through that dumped four inches of rain in fifteen hours.

Now, that might not sound like much to us but it exceeded their "normal" precipitation total for the entire YEAR!

Heck, they don't even have gutters on the houses out there and storm sewers are about as common as left nostril inhalers are around here.

This photo was in Phoenix over the weekend!

I thought you were a golf pro??  Too far from the ball, hands too low and you look shut to the target line,

Fortunately/unfortunately that ain't me.

I haven't seen that much hair since the last time I swept out a barber shop!

What I can't figure out is why he seems so focused on an aiming point.

I'd also like to see the "after" photo if he hit that thing even a smidgeon heavy......

And I NEVER slice!

We liberals don’t have anything to do with it. Except that when they issue us our  (the new one is a blue background, with rainbow hammers and sickles on one side, and a beautiful watermarked Mural featuring FDR, LBJ, the Clintons, and the Obamas on the other) Liberal Card, we are required to point out that weather is different than climate, and that the screwy weather conditions we keep having are a direct result of the climate change that is pushing the jetstream into new and exciting places.
