Heck those kids might fish all the time. When I was young I used to go up to a local pond and fish every day.I bet some of those parents have enough money to let their kids fish those tourneys.Just need to tell the kids it is fishing and not catching. Are the river fish biting.,haven't seen any photos lately.

The rivers are all jacked up from all of this rain. Now that snagging and turkey season are over with, I'm ready to get out on them and start chasing some bass. Hopefully this rain will calm down and that will be a possibility here in a few weeks.

I'm just hoping the kids don't get turned off to it by getting their butts kicked time and time again.

Some people are good at fishing and some are not.

Super day.  You all sure kicked this Old Guides Patoonie!

Don't feel bad Bill! I helped a couple of the young boys with my HOTSPOTS! They only had i legal each day. I didn't get to Captain them, as one of the boys Grandpa had that privilege.

Did I see you around Moonshine yesterday?

Phil, no I’ve been traveling since last Tuesday. Went to Nashville and now in STL. Be back tomorrow night.

That's awesome Phil!

I checked on our local team and I was very happy to see that they finally weighed in a keeper! Took them four tournaments to boat a keeper, but they did it!

One of the kids who is learning to make baits at my house sent me a text.  He said they came in 22nd over all.  That is a good finish with so many boats involved.   I am proud of him.

Super job, Phil. Those boys will cherish that one day forever.
