 The ones getting wasted don't bother with koozie's because the beverage isn't outside their body long enough to get warm.

When I was a freshman we had a guy that bought 7 oz beers so that the beer would still be cold when he got to the bottom of the bottle. Now that guy had a drinking problem😂! I don't ever recall having warm beer even when drinking 16 or 24 oz beers😌.

I always thought that I would love to live on the water, I have been on and regularly fished many or all the areas mentioned in this thread (I haven't been to Mc Natt since the flood )

25 yrs ago I would fish places that you would seldom see anyone, and there was big fish, now not so.

I was fishing the bank of spring river, a few miles from my house when a man floated by in a kayak, I asked "Hey where did you put in" (thinking that I might be able to the same some time ) he barked back "Why do you want to know, so you can brake into my truck !"  I thought wow, jerk !   

Thinking about this, on the way home,  he has a point, he didn't know me. 

I think if I want to live on the water I might just have to dig a pond and settle for that. 

I don't get why someone would enjoy going to the water or anywhere else, trash it, then think that it will be clean for them next time they visit??

So now that we have discussed the problem, what do we do ?

So now that we have discussed the problem, what do we do ? 

Don't think a pond is really the absolute solution. I have a small pond stocked with Catfish and it's hundred of yards from any house except for the one I own on the property. Randomly people started telling me they saw lights down there in the middle of the night. I started scoping things out and started finding trash around(liver tubs, kid sized flip flops, worm containers, fishing poles, stringers, tons of junk line). 

Turns out neighbor kids and their dogs(between 8 and 12 y/o) were coming through the woods and across a field with a bunch of cows in the middle of the night. Keeping every fish they caught and taking them back to their parents and having family cookouts. I finally camped out and ran the kids off only to get a dirty phone call and confrontation from my neighbors informing me of how rude I was to their kids. I simply informed the kids they did not have permission to fish, keep fish, cross my property, trash my pond, or disturb my cattle. It wasn't that I didn't like them; I just didn't want the liability of a bunch of kids after dark, around a pond, in a field full of momma cows.  I wouldn't allow it with my own kids in that situation let alone someone else's. The back and forth continued to the point I put up private property signs and had to get local authorities involved. 

Frankly if it wasn't for mom and dad loosing their house and being kicked out, I think I would still have problems with those now young adults.

I don't know that it is a different discussion. If drinking and other drugs are part of the land owner-angler problem ...

My boys and I hunt and fish local private property near our home, I like being able to walk out the door and walk to my favorite coyote spot or whatever. It's all in the raising.

I told my kids stay off others land, ask expecting nothing. Whatever the answer thank them, wish them well. move on. Don't trash the place !!!

My kids are grown, one neighbor said yes you can hunt, but only you. Which should go without saying. Don't bring other because you have permission.

Stuff like that, that we all know, right ?

That neighbor should have scolded their children for trespassing and apologized to you, and cleaned up your pond. I would have been HOT if my kids would have done that ! 

Dang it now everyone knows what I get mad about. Wrench will be pulling my chain now.
