The scent would surely help, but they feed a lot by sight as well. Otherwise why would we ever catch trout on flies or jigs as they are unscented? Mega worms are unscented and they crush trout. Big ones too! trythisonemv 1

I have fished the orange next to the pink. Some days the orange out fishes the pink but most days pink. Johnsfolly and Smallie Seeker 2 A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Bill Babler Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Spoke to one of the head guys at Orvis today telling him my story about the Powerworm. Cool guy. He had guided in both Alaska and Kamchatka said as far as he knew there had never been a fly or for that matter anything that caught trout like a friggin Berkley Powerworm in Bubblegum “Said the only.” Only thing that was remotely near it was a mop fly. Or as we call it a Megaworm. Johnsfolly and Seth 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Quillback Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I bet the worm, fished under a float, would work for steelhead when they are in the rivers. snagged in outlet 3 1

Members Hook Dupp Posted September 13, 2019 Members Posted September 13, 2019 Have not been down in a long time. Is it possible to wade at the hatchery running at 35 megawatts?
