I only have my personal experience to guide me. I really don't anything about bobcats. In my previous job I was pretty much by myself out in the middle of no where 24/7. I encountered quite a few bobcats over the years. The only reaction I have ever witnessed was, first they crapped themselves, while doing a scooby doo cartoon thing with there legs. Then in a puff of fur, they were gone.

I think he wanted to shoot a Bobcat and just flat out lied.

I hope they didn't let him have it.

Another note I was just North of Tipton and seen 4 young Bobcats playing in the road. I had never seen that before.

If you put it on the net, people will see it.  The fuzz watches it too. 

I wonder what ole Chipper was wanted for and what felony he did to get him on the list.  Looks like a decent guy in the photos.  Did not see any charges for keeping a deer as a pet in the bedroom.   Could have been his friends deer.  Neighbors must have been jealous of his lifestyle and rolled over on him.  Waiting for the live local late breaking clip showing Chipper in cuffs doing the perp walk.

The story just said there was signs that the deer had been living there a while.  I am with Wrench, probably left a scrape in the hallway. 

I think the old Chipper had house broken the deer before he left.  They really make good pets till rutting season, then its game on.  May be why he was not in the house at the time the warrant was served.  Dominate buck took over the bedroom and horned him out.....
