I like that qualifier in there, "pretty good", . . . .not always, but usually. 😜 Feel the same about you too. Need to get down to your place soon. Been way too long 20+ years ago. Looks like the fishing has been on fire of late. Terrierman 1
ColdWaterFshr Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 I’ve got some good new to report. Mother in-law who is 82 has been fully recovered for several days now. She got a letter from the health department on Tuesday saying she was cleared, even though she wasn’t tested and they seemed to forget she was taking care of her 86 year old husband, who was just returned home via ambulance on Good Friday while still suffering. He was getting worse in the hospital. So upon his return, we didn’t think he would make it through the night. After 3 rough days, and a few interspersed good and bad days, he has now put together several consecutive good days and turned the corner. Home health care visits from nurses has been very helpful and something we could not get a few weeks ago. He has been extremely weak and sick for over 5 weeks though never on a ventilator. And both were in great health prior, no underlying conditions. My wife and kids and I have been on an emotional roller coaster during much of this time. We are very lucky and blessed. Thank you to all who have reached out for support, Ness, N9bow, Terrieman, Flysmallie, and others. Peace. A picture of my father in law coming home almost 2 weeks ago, his front porch flag in the background which he replaces every year with a new flag. God bless our front line EMT’s, doctors, nurses, and caregivers. Quillback, Walleyedmike, MOPanfisher and 9 others 11 1

Jerry Rapp Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 I have been quiet on this thread for several days. It appears very likely that many more people have had this disease than reported. The number of cases of illness in November, December, January and February that weren't confirmed as flu were probably Corona. This would make the death rate % much, much lower, more inline with flu deaths. Time will tell. Also, the number of deaths that will/are occurring because of the economic shutdown will far surpass deaths due to illness. I see political shots are still being fired, mainly by one person, even after Phil asked not to post political stuff. The Governor of New York has turned this into his own elect me campaign. I have been manually tracking the infected/death numbers on 3 different sites since March 13th. The "exponential" explosion never did occur. The number of cases in NYC skew the overall numbers drastically. This city is in the state of the new "star" governor, hmmmm. "Scared people are easily manipulated" has definitely been proven correct. For better or worse, times sure are changing.

There it is!! This is the missing data that has been overlooked! Did you phone the White House to let them know? Maybe they can squeeze this in to the press briefing today . . . . if time will allow for it, you know right after we hear the more important stuff about injecting disinfectants or putting UV lamps inside our body somehow.

I had shot them before and didn’t like them but after I studied about them they are real cool. I found out a person can customize them far easier than the old type Rifles. But I didn’t like going from M14 to M16. And anyone considering a AR Rifle weapon of war is a idiot. oneshot All those dead VC, Taliban, Daesh and Iraqis might have a little different take on whether AR/M16/M4 is a weapon of war or not.
