Back at it with work today... We're still buried up to our eyeballs trying to get telemedicine setup for all the hospitals.  They ordered a whole new fleet of iPads for the docs as well.  Seems like my workplace is in this for the long haul.

We're still in the beginning stages from what I'm hearing here in MO.  At this point though I'm not sure what to believe.  I do know me and my family are practicing social distancing, and any thing that comes in from outside gets a full DECON in the garage before it comes in the house... Might be Overkill but middle kiddo has asthma, epilepsy, and is prone to get pneumonia since she's had it a few times. Not taking any chances there.

@ColdWaterFshr I hope your in laws recover and pray that do not need to go to the hospital.

Eric I'm rocking this mask off I'm going out in the masses... Gonna have to shave the quarantine beard first though.

Stay safe out there guys.

My stress level will blow a gasket inside before anything else gets me.

Yeah I’m going to have a heart attack or mental breakdown before this is all over. Tomorrow’s fun is cutting hours and furloughs. We are essential but our customers are starting to close their businesses.

We are talking here and now Glen. Are you riding the fence waiting to see how this plays out and then making a decision? Make the decision now. Do you pay attention to what is going on now?  I'm going to quote you. "I mean c'mon"  Are you ready to make the call? Would you leave the cruse ship looking for a port to let you in as people are dying on said ship? Don't stick your head in the sand and ignore this. Have you checked this daily? Watching this progress?

Some of us are very lucky to be rural. Because it isn't happening in our neighborhood doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Oh I'm watching and absorbing all the info daily, I'm definitely stressed out about it and being as careful as I can.  The wife and kids are harder to get onboard because they have uncontrollable shopping habits that are worse than any drug depedancy I've ever seen, and there isn't a day goes by that they don't "NEED" something.

My only point is that I can't blame anyone for brushing this off as just another crock of bull.  Chicken Little has made multiple visits to all of our livingrooms.  🙄

Just got back from a shopping spree this afternoon after work.  Gas line for the boat at Wally World, gallon of 2 stroke oil, 6 gallon tank at Academy,  and some other stuff.

14 cases in many thousand people is a pretty safe bet.  Not like I am going to the big crowded city.

Washing hands and using my sanitizer sparingly,  No resupply in sight yet.

You said you are going back and forth on this correct? So what is your stand? Crock of bull? Two of these guys I have told them what I thought of what they said.  Come on Glen what is your call on this?

I’m lucky enough to be able to work from home for the most part. Unfortunately my people can’t so I do feel some responsibility to be with them at times. I do have to be in KC next week. At least I can get in and get my stuff done and then get out. But you still gotta stop along the way to eat and pee and get gas. Might just take food with me next time.

So as I see it this is an easy thing to get across.

FACTS:

  1. This Aint the flu (knowing what we know today  - best case 4x the flu 0.4% deaths)
  2. If you get this in a heavy enough load.. OUTCOME Sucks = Death (Actively Dying (think drowning) over a day or so????... If you are lucky maybe several hrs???) Ask a Dr.. Not gonna Share on this forum what I believe to be true regarding a Bad Outcome.
  3. We're all going to get it so Be Smart....Wear a Mask...Social Distance...Buy Time Till a vaccine OR......if you have to get it.. Get it small!!!!!!! so your body can mount a defense!
