It is a test.  Nose swab.

Yep, and apparently Influenza A is pretty mild and only lasts less than 2 days... because she's obviously fine today, been running around all over town shopping and has picked up her grandkids for the weekend.

I’m no boat mechanic, but you may want to take your meds as instructed. Stopping an antibiotic prematurely can encourage a worse, more resistant infection.

Continuing to take them after your condition is headed in the right direction can make antibiotics less effective next time.   The reason they tell you to take them until they are gone is to keep old aged medicine out of medicine cabinets.... because overly aged antibiotics can cause some pretty wicked allergic reactions in some people.  If they told you to just throw them away they know that nobody would do it.

That crap about the virus coming back STRONGER if you don't take the full prescription is BS.

Sorry that a stupid boat mechanic had to be the one to teach you that.  😁

I was to take mine for in case I got infection in my incision where my Tube was.

I took three doses and was very sick. It healed and I didn’t have infection.

Antibiotics aren’t used for viruses.  They are used for bacterial infections.

Good catch.  This is why I'm not a doctor.😂

Well that, and I have good handwriting.

Antibiotics are for bacteria. Bacteria mutate rapidly. Leave some behind and they can develop strains that are resistant to the antibiotics and are therefore less treatable in the future. So, you should take them all to knock it all out. It’s got nothing to do with emptying out the medicine cabinet. There’s no conspiracy. Look it up.

Once your condition begins to noticably improve it's a pretty safe bet that enough antibiotic remains in your system to finish the job.   Continuing to take antibiotics when there's no actual need for them is hard on your bones, teeth, and other things that I've conveniently forgotten about.

Hell I don't know, I'm just sharing my interpretation of what I remember my momma telling me.  🤔 I haven't needed a doctor for over 40 years, so it has worked ok for me.  😊

Wow, so much incorrect.

I know my Pain Medication is very strong. It stays in my system at least 3 days. I found Paramedics didn't have anything to kill pain because of the Medication I'm on.

I appreciate you telling me.  Alot of people believe incorrect things, I'm definitely not immune.   Living by those beliefs sure has served me well though, so far.

It's interesting how something so wrong can work so well.
