Rain, Rain, Rain

Between yesterday and today about 3" in my rain gauge and it's still pouring here in Shell Knob.  You could take a whitewater kayak ride down the ditch in front of my house, seriously. Lake level is flying up, I see they are running 5 gates and all the generators wide open. Wonder how high the lake will go before it's all said and done?

Gauge here is at 3.6 and the sky is still falling. We are trapped at home by flash flooding and earlier the slopping part of the yard and driveway had a full sheet of water about and inch deep over all of it. Great weather for social distancing, eh?

There is going to be water coming down the James also.  We have had 6” of rain at the farm south of Hurley in the last 4 days.

Yes but only with top water baits.
