Did my best to catch a 20+ but couldn't pull it off.   I'm wicked on the 16-18's right now though😊

Biggest this eveningIMG_20200525_171854069~2.jpg

Rode out one hell of a storm earlier. Wow! 😲

The fish here on my end of the lake have NOT spawned, in spite of what everyone is saying.  It's gonna happen within the next week or so I think.

I lost count on the number of 15"+ keepers because the storm freaked me out a bit. 12-14 I think (in 5 hours).   At 3 hours in I swung #9 in the boat and declared myself a HAMMER!  😅

That’s a chunky bass for sure.

I always wanted to be a screwdriver. Nice fishes.

The judges have unanimously decided that Bill JR wins by a whisker.  Congrats!

Bill - I will send you a PM, and copy Phil, so that he can get the plaque to you.

I'd like to do another one of these, but have to do some polling to see what interest level there is in doing this again, have heard lots of feedback on possible changes, so I'll get back to everybody soon to see what the membership feels about doing this again.

I liked the idea just not a big fan of bass fishing.

I think it would be cool to do multi-species.

We're working on different options.  Please respond to the poll when it comes out.

Good job, Bill !  😊👍

It was a blast.

Thanks Wrench! 👍 Definitely was close and looked like it could go either way.  I had a blast as well and look forward to do this again.  I live in St. Louis and though they are definitely not as pretty as Bull Shoals I would love to try this again from a couple of local public lakes that hold a few big fish.  Thanks Quillback, Phil, and everyone else who helped put this together!
