Mitch f Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Anytime creek fish are hauled to a weigh in...bad idea. I totally agree @Flysmallie evilcatfish, snagged in outlet 3, Flysmallie and 1 other 4 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

fishinwrench Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 It's comforting to know that I'm not the only person that feels that way. evilcatfish, Smalliebigs, snagged in outlet 3 and 2 others 5

I know what I have seen on LOZ and Table Rock in tourneys especially in warm water temps or during the spawn
tjm Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 To clarify, actually I don't mind the hauling (or weighing) of fish if they are eaten after the hauling. It's the hauling, culling, and releasing in an alien environment that I oppose. Fisheries management departments encourage contest participants to engage in these practices that are illegal for everyone else and terrible for the fishery itself, incomprehensible. fishinwrench and Daryk Campbell Sr 1 1

I haven't lost any friends, but they continue to call or come by wanting me to fish some derby with them. They think I'm being rediculous and I think they truly expect me to change my mind any day now. But I ain't gonna. I still cheer them on, and congratulate them when they do well. When we debate it they agree wholeheartedly with my point of view..... but they aren't gonna stop participating as long as everyone else is doing it. Whatever. There are followers.... and there are leaders. 🙄 evilcatfish, tjm and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
tjm Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 That's because the plug hit 17" too far left. Accuracy counts with educated fish.
fishinwrench Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 I caught a blue tailed skink in my driveway on a foam spider today. Got a little carried away with the hookset, he almost landed in Sugarbritches lap. Then I spent 30 minutes trying to get a bluejay to bite. Had 2 follows but couldn't get him to commit. I gave up after she said..."what do you plan to do if you catch it, those things are MEAN?" 😬 BilletHead, Flysmallie, Gavin and 1 other 4
