ollie Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 If more people get back to work then the fishing pressure will ease up some. I have noticed WAY more people at the places I normally fish as well. Most of those people don't have anything else going on in their lives right now so they get out more. Seth Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 The middle and lower Gasconade doesn't seem to be getting hit any harder than it usually does from what I can tell. Fishing has been pretty awesome so far this year. The Meramec on the other hand seems worse than in recent years. I fished last Thursday evening out of Onondaga and the floater traffic was nuts. I don't remember it being that bad on weekday evenings in the past.
top_dollar Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 The upper big is the same as its ever been. I think you "secret creek" guys are in for major disappointment in the future as there will only be more people using it and more often. I guess living in saint louis and fishing in sewer drains and around massive crowds has conditioned me to be pretty used to it by now. Terrierman 1

Put it online and naming the place is not good, but places get named all the time on the phone, round the camp fire. If you have fished with a friend for 5-10 years regular. You know all of their secret spots. It's always funny finding out how many people call the same spots by different names. Daryk Campbell Sr, Gavin and snagged in outlet 3 3

That's hilarious. And your 100% right. I bet that Mary Jo island is probably gone now, and Sally's bridge got a facelift more than 20 years ago..... probably due for another one.
