Yep, having a hard time finding ammo I need. 5.56 and 9 and when they do come available in this area it is gone as soon as they put it out!

The benefit of being a hillbilly who reloads is I am.never out of ammo.  If I do run out the end has already been written for me.  By the time any roams bands of ANTIFA or whatever make it to my house their numbers are gonna be dwindling rapidly.

Wife's brother called from Houston Tx last week wanting me to find him some 9mm. Nothing going here at the lake short of $42 a box for self defense.  I found three 50 rd boxes Friday traveling through Terre Haute . Good price at $14.

I’m not worried about rioters in my street, not one little bit. It’s a pain to find ammo and fishing line these days, seems to be a supply chain issue. Have enough for a fall warmup,  and hunting this season. Figure 50-100 rounds is 50-100x more than what most will ever need for self/home defense. I clip is probably more than enough. If you need more than that your way out numbered, and need to bug outa there.

I'm not all that worried about rioters coming up my lane either.  Zombies are about as likely.

I’m not worried on those terms either and I live in a diverse area; I’m more concerned about availability in the future.  I stay stocked so I don’t get caught short.  Same with TP(pre-COVID).....both rate about the same in my book....lol.  Gotta have priorities.

Primers and bullets are real hard to come by too.

9mm, 380, 5.56, and 7.62x39 are in short supply. 9mm especially. Most of the local pawn shops are either picked clean, or priced higher than MSRP, one owner told me that Covid has sold more guns for him than Obama.

Covid paranoia started a panic buy, factories were shut down for a while, that made it worse, and it's an election year on top of that. Perfect storm.

No rioters, or Covid for that matter,  in my neck of the woods. If anyone on here has family members who had Covid, please post how they are fairing. I would like to hear from the horses mouth.
