Let hear about and see them...my only experience has been jumbos caught at lake of the woods

Those are jumbos!  I haven't caught any THAT big.  South Dakota...Devil's Lake...has some big ones.  I know guys that have done really well there.  The ones below are from Iowa and Ontario.

Actually i think the one my dad is holding we found floating dead and netted it

The most consistent place that I have caught them is between the mouth of Beaver Creek and the mouth of Cedar Creek while fishing for white bass.

We catch quite a number of yellow perch here in MD. Pretty common, though the sizes here are not like out in the lakes of SD.
