A pair of same-day wintertime Highbank hole studs. 👍 I don’t remember taking the pics but I remember the day.

Not an easy place to fish or an easy place to follow and land a fish if he heads towards kingfisher flats. Nice fish wrench. fishinwrench 1

I've got no photos so it didn't happen🙄. Took a charter with a group of guys some were quite well off. We were heading out of Port Aransas TX. Tropical storm Alberto was in the gulf. Waves were 2 to 4 as we headed out. By the time we got up to the first oil rig they were 4 to 6. Only about 8 of us started fishing. The rest were chumming both over the rail and in the salon. We were using old fish and squid baits plus the smell from the rigs made for an olfactory challenge. Then fighting off sea sickness due to waves added to the keep it down challenge. I caught about 5 or 6 red snapper. A few other guys caught about the same. By the time we were in 6 to 8 foot swells one to the really rich guys threatened the captain that he would buy the boat and fire him if we didn't head back in, which we did. Always amazed how quickly you can get over sea sickness. Next day we had a fish fry. So it was all good. Mitch f, FishnDave, netboy and 1 other 4
