Caleb and I went out in the kayaks this afternoon and got out past the moss line. Caught a lot of speckle trout, not very big but lots of fun.

Oh God!   Be careful!

Some giant killer whale might make a snack out of ya.  😳

I saw a video once where a guy was wading way out on a flat, looked to be 200 yards from dry land, catching bonefish.   He hooks one and a 8' shark started homing in on the hooked bonefish.

What do you do when THAT happens ?

My wife climbed me like tree screaming while I walked to shore.  😂.  I had on a barracuda and when I released it the shark followed it and started “snackin”!

Pretty little thing... caught 2 of them.  Perfect bait fish size.

We took the kayaks out today - should have done this earlier in the week.

Ended up with 19 trout.  Mostly "stocker" size, but fun to catch.  Caleb caught a few too.

Moving out past the grass line was the ticket.  Lots of fish out there that would hit my jig!

Sharks are always there and harmless. You don’t want to be the guy wet wading chest deep with a stringer of fish tied to you though. If one is hungry you might get zapped. My younger cousin is a Navy rescue swimmer,  Air crew, jumps out of helicopters. See’s lots of sharks not far from crowded beaches.

Pbil looks like a silver perch especially if it didn't have the two canines like those speckled trout that you have been catching.
