Ketchup Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 Didn’t read but a few of the comments, so if this doesn’t fit your reply, then it’s not directed at you. In life there are sheep, and then there are sheep herders. If you feel that a mask is going to protect you, and allow you to venture out of your basement, worry free from ill, death, car crashes, then please, by all means wear that sucker. If you are old, or have pre-existing health issues, and you dare venture out into this world, you should wear your mask, pantyhose, handkerchief, whatever mentally makes you feel safe to exit your front door. I on the other hand have not lived a life of sheepness. Anyone with even 1 open eye can see that this flu is politically motivated. Are people getting sick? Sure. Sick of lots of things. Has this killed people? Umm, very few if any that didn’t already have issues. Will you be ok without your mask in Walmart? You betcha. You won’t croak at the register. Lets play a game. Lets call it “Pretend”. When you see me in public, just pretend that i am wearing a mask, and i in return will pretend that your mask is keeping you safe. Deal? Perfect, now im going to hook my boat up, maskless. gotmuddy and fishinwrench 2 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Gavin Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Figure a smart person would were a mask and wash their hands to and fro. Costs you pennies, and the benefit is huge. Stop reading idiotic nonsense and sell short on September Buffalo horn futures. fishinwrench and Greasy B 1 1
Devan S. Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 I will openly agree that COVID in the grand scheme of pandemics is relatively harmless. Its certainly worse than the flu but were not talking black plague/Spanish flu proportions. So for the openly anti-maskers....at what level of contagiousness and death rate do you suddenly become a "sheep" along with the rest of us?
Gavin Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 An once of prevention used to be worth more than a pound of cure. When did that change? Copay for a Doc/ER visit is more than masks and soap for several months.
Devan S. Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 We had someone come to work last week. Said their spouse was on quarantine and pending a covid test. The spouse had been sent home earlier in the week due to contact at work and while at home had developed the full range of symptoms. Someone asked," why are you here". The response was, "we don't have the results of the covid test yet so I am okay to come to work until they are positive. At this point I feel fine, just noticed yesterday I have loss of smell but so far that's no big deal." 2 days onsite, with a highly likely positive case at home, with symptoms. All for a job that is 100% computer based with the option to WFH for the last year. I will never get it. I don't care if its the flu, Covid, strep, stomach bug, whatever. IF YOUR SICK AND YOU KNOW IT DONT COME TO WORK. nomolites, snagged in outlet 3, Ryan Miloshewski and 3 others 4 2

Hiding in your bathroom when a tornado hits your house is as effective as a cloth mask at catching a virus, thanks for proving masks are ineffectual everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
gotmuddy Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 13 hours ago, David Unnerstall said: OK. This virus will not live outside of humans. If we all stop spreading this thing to each other it will die out. Other countries have been successful in this. We just can’t seem to do what we need to do. And for achieving the “herd immunity threshold”: How many deaths are acceptable? If we achieve 100% infection rate that will mean 5.6 million deaths. The average death rate per day has exceeded the 9/11 death count since January 8th. If Al Qaeda were to bomb skyscrapers every day we would not be hoping they run out of buildings to bomb. You should work for the media, your ability to propagandize is legendary. the issue we really have is HIGH risk people(over 65, multiple underlying issues) are not quarantining. If they were this would be a non issue. Huntingducks117 1 everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

Thats a great question, and I am not sure if I have a threshold to put a line at. At this point I would say just "more". I am from the country, we invented social distancing. Johnsfolly Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Thought that I was done🙄. 8 pages of the same rhetoric on this thread just like every other thread about masks. False bravado, pleas for humanity, data vs no data, trolls, blah blah blah... glad that I didn't read through it all. I did see @Devan S. post. Sounds like your company has a weak COVID policy or enforcement. That guy would have quarantined for at least 10 to 14 days.
