That’s awesome man!!! I really hope you do get to hug the grandkids 😉

On this side of the state it’s not really going too well. Over 300,000 have registered in St Louis County and they have failed miserably in getting any numbers vaccinated. They actually said on the news St Louis County was getting another 30,000 doses, which is laughable if you have a brain and can add numbers. There are some dumb games being played with the distribution here. I know of Two pharmacies giving them to friends who were not in the age range we are currently in for distribution and not high risk.
I’m 53 and had a chance to get one but, passed as I felt it was unethical with so many older people wanting it so desperately..... now I don’t think I will be getting any vaccine until the Summer I would assume the way St Louis County and the State is with how organized they are???

Had COVID-19 and had Booster the third.

Yelp sounds like your going to be going good before long.

Our Granddaughter just freaked out because I wouldn’t give her a hug.

I have no idea of what you are talking about when you say booster.  My second one was the same one, just a second dose.

The second one is what they are calling a booster.  It us the exact same shot, first one supposed to get you to around 50% protected the second boosts it into the 90s, which is phenomenal compared to say a flu vaccine.  I admit to not being very good at protecting myself, told my daughter that I would take my dam chances and encourage my grandson to visit anytime and for as long as I can keep him.  Us getting the vaccine is making her feel better though.

I got it today.  A couple of more weeks and I may eat in a restaurant again.  I’d like to see those grandkids again up close and personal.  Hope all is well with the rest of you.

Same here with the wants and wishes.  # 2 Pfizer is going in my arm on Wednesday.😎

Just read in National Geographic that there are still unknowns about the vaccines' effectiveness, especially in whether you can still have an asymptomatic case after getting the vaccine and pass it on to someone else.  They recommend to keep wearing masks (which only makes sense, because I've always worn a mask more as a courtesy to others than for my own protection, and unless you get a big V tattooed on your forehead, nobody knows whether you've gotten the vaccine or not.  I know it will still tick me off to see people in the stores without masks, because I can't guess whether they are possible carriers or not.).  And to keep social distancing.  But I know I'll begin going into stores again, and quick shops.  Maybe not restaurants yet.  I told Mary that the first thing I'm going to do after the next two weeks is up and I'm as fully protected as you can get with the vaccine, is to go into the nearest quick shop and buy some packages of Twinkies.  Twinkies have always been one of my guilty pleasures, and I have to discipline myself not to eat more than a couple packages at a time, and not to buy them except about every fifth time I go into a quick shop.  Well, I haven't had a Twinkie since March.

Hey, Twinkie the Kid,

Want me to send you some?   I'll trade you even-up for some Raspberry Zingers.

You don’t say..... couldn’t have guessed that there would be gaps in understanding on something rushed to market like this.

part of me wonders if focusing the vaccine on the older isn’t a way out of law suits while the “close the gaps” before vaccinating younger with more time to sue.

Excellent point.

It's likely to resemble all these ads from lawyers asking everyone who has used ROUNDUP weed killer in the last 16-18 years to contact them.
