A great day for fishing, it was cold to begin with, but by the time of the weigh-in it was a pleasantly warm, sunny afternoon.  We'll have to make sure that going forward M&M picks the date for us as he did a fine job of getting us scheduled into a nice day to fish.

Quite a few bass were caught, but a tough day to get big fish.  2.9 largemouth was the winner with several more around 2.5 lbs. weighed in.  Jerkbaits and Rock Crawlers were working well, I heard of fish being caught on bluff ends, bank transitions, and in the backs of pockets and coves.

Several accidental trout were caught, biggest was 3.1 lbs.  Also some walleye were tallied and I heard of a couple being keepers.

And thanks for the donations to Christian Action Ministries, you guys were very generous!

Kbilb did not win this year, but Jaybill,  fishing with him got the winning fish.

I had a great time out fishing with my son.  Thank you all for putting on a great event.  Well done!

Thank you, Jaybill

It was good to have you, hopefully you can come back next year to defend your title!

Every year I do something different. Past items have included wings, dump and stir salad, smoked bologna, and something I forget. I will think on next year.

Had a great time hanging out with all of you guys.  As mentioned above,  I  rode in Mike's boat @liphunter.  Ultra nice guy.  We fished hard, but neither of us know Tablerock very well.  We worked the water we covered very well.  Just could not get them to bite.  The food and fellowship was as great as always.    A bit of a cold start, first time I had my guides freeze while fishing,  but, I earned a sunburn also.  Had a little mishap while setting up camp.  I camped out at Roaring River State Park, I accidentally took someone's reserved site.  I returned Saturday after the tournament, there were 4 cars in the driveway and tents up along with mine.  I apologized and told the occupants I would move, they insisted that I stayed.   Very nice family, they fed me and allowed me to hang out with them.   The best part, they did not "look like me", yet they accepted me in their family outing.  There is still hope in this world.
