I’m with Wrench. Would absolutely take someone stoned vs drunk or hangover, any time, any job. I also got shredded to bits over on the BBC for saying that a whole lot, if not a majority of tradesmen self medicate with a little meth when they need to get up and go to work. I’m not saying it’s right or good, in fact I believe harmful self medication is a key reason we need Medicare for All, but you better believe it happens, even among folks that look “sober”.

When it comes to driving, I want to avoid hungover folks. At least a drunk is trying to pay attention but is just not able. Whereas a badly hungover person just could not care if they die anyway 🙄.

In my little world the people I see swerving out of their lane are generally messing with a phone.  I am not a late night hoot owl anymore so I generally don't see drinkers on the road.

Oh, they're there alright, those 3 liquor stores at the line don't make their living off of Bentonville & Jane. Most of them are functional drunks, so driving is no big whoop. You won't see them getting pulled over either.

Day drinking. It's not particularly a great ideal, but it can be exciting!!! A couple of weeks ago in Republic. Sometimes 5:00 is just to far away. I'm going to need a new headlight. When I retired. I thought I finally will get to fish the best time of year unhindered. Hasn't happened yet.

No, I'm just entirely in-touch with REALITY.   And the reality is that very VERY few even attempt to live up to my expectations.   

I'd rather be surprised than disappointed.  

The fact that we live in a society full of slackers and phuck-ups is something that you might as well get used to.

I've known alot of wake&bakers that were perfectly good employees.  I know quite a few tweekers that are genuine go-getters too.  

I guarantee there isn't a dock or boat hoist on this lake that doesn't have some "residue" on it.  😎    

Doctors, Cops, you name it...... They're all doing SOMETHING.    No doubt in my mind.  

Adderall is a biggie !   

I'm pretty much a caffeine junky.
