I wouldn't know, but I have a gut feeling that there are plenty of people in the hospital as a result of having taken the vaccine.....and the records probably show them as simply "a Covid patient."

How much ya wanna bet?

After just watching the new Pearl Harbor about 9/11 I don’t know what to believe.

I am even masking back up in crowds because I can get it , carry it and not even know and pass it on to someone else not vaccinated and this new variant may just kill that person.

Thank you for that. It'd be wonderful if that attitude was universal. No one is "fully vaccinated" until the vaccines are nearing 100% prevention. A vaccine that just reduces the symptoms is in reality worse than no vaccine.   Any one of us might be a carrier.

Haven't heard of this.  Title?

That's seems unlikely when the data at pretty much every hospital is saying 95% or more of their Covid patients are unvaccinated. If hospitals are lying about this, then they are lying to the people who take care of the patients because those are the same numbers my fiance is seeing at her hospital as well.

I guess I look at things differently. We've had plenty of time to decide whether we want the vaccine at this point. If you got it, great, you're at a much lower risk of having a severe reaction to Covid if catch it. If you haven't got it and want to take your chances being around others then that is your choice, but the vaccinated shouldn't have to continue masking up to protect the ones that aren't.

The social shaming going on about the Vaccine is pretty bad.  All the way up to Potus.

It's America and we have a choice.  Just like the mask shaming about wearing a piece of cloth that makes the scared sheep feel better, now they are doing it with the vaccine.

Aren't you being hypocritical by calling the pro mask/vaccine crowd sheep? You're looking down on them for something you don't agree with, but turn around and gripe about them doing the same thing to you.

I have to admit I try to stay out of this crap. There is no good end to these conversations.  But this statement, I'm sorry really got me. My daughter being a occupational therapist at a large hospital in KC has to wade in disease riddled individuals every day. I got your sheep buddy. Why don't you come and get it! 28 people died at Cox in the month of July. None were vaccinated. I so want to let you know what I think of you. But out respect to Phil. I won't. I'm done with ya. You can all die for all I care!!!

Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???B)

I have the vaccine.

My inlaws are vaccinated and one is on Oxygen in the hospital with Covid.

I fully understand that the vaccine science is good and makes sense.

But it is a choice.  I fight for freedom of choice.

I feel for your daughter and all healthcare workers. I can't imagine how it feels to lose so many patients.

There are a lot professions that are exposed to large numbers of people, too. Retail workers, teachers, food service, the list goes on. Those people are at risk, too, and personally, I feel like I should care about them. The fact that there was almost no flu season last winter tells us that masking works.
