I have arrived in Readstown, WI. Spent an hour fishing a stream close by this morning and drew first blood on a wild brown. Ate the hopper good! Got some Spotted Cow and now relaxing before the evening. I'll post more pics as the week goes on.

Dog and I stopped at the Field of Dreams site on the way up yesterday, too. Pretty cool.

Enjoyed a couple Spotted Cows while under a shade tree on Elk Creek today. Slow fishing tonight. Caught three more browns. Headed up to Coon Valley area tomorrow early. Wish me luck!

Got a couple inches of rain last night around 1:00 am and everything is blown out. Should be fishable by the evening. Good and bad thing about these little streams, I suppose. Tying up some size 16 Hippie Stompers to pass the time. Cooled down nicely, though. 72 deg now.

Looks like fun...Those streams get muddy quickly. Hope it clears up for you.

Yea I walked 7 miles yesterday and slept so hard I didn't even know it rained..found out quickly very early hah. Oh well, had a great breakfast at the Kickapoo Corner. Lots of classic Wisconsin people in there, too. I heard "oh jeepers!" and "ohh yaaahh" a few times.

It's 96 here right now.  Yaah, oh yaah it's a little muggy.
