We've talked some about stocking bass on this forum, thought this was an interesting video (scroll down to the lower part of the page to see the video).   Mainly looks to be directed at private lake stocking, but there is some innovative thinking going on there.

Wonder what the cost is? That facility doesn't look cheap. Their approach seems sound. 

I would suggest they dump about 50,0000 Titan fingerlings into Beardsley but the fishing really can't get any better as it is now.

I read somewhere that the operation is financed by some billionaire as a kind of fun science project thing.

Perhaps it's Bill Gates? All this COVID vaccination stuff was just so he could continue genetic alteration research in the hopes that he could identify as a fish. Legally.

Me too, though I feel genetically superior fish aren't really needed to make it happen. Unfortunately, the general public and even the MDC don't seem to be on board with what it would take...

I know Ill probably get killed for saying this as its already been said I'm sure. I think you should eliminate tournaments during the spawn or at least tournaments that involve putting fish in the live well and bringing them in to a weigh in, April and May for most of us. It hurts my soul when I see these fish on stage full of eggs and I think it would help fish populations or at least give these fish a real chance to do their thing. I know I don't want anybody dragging me out of bed when I'm trying to do my thing.😇

I’ve been a proponent for that for several years but I don’t see it happening.  I also think that sight fishing during the spawn should be a very serious infraction with dire consequences.
